LumaPace Privacy Policy

LumaPace (“English Through Meditation”) helps you learn English with guided meditation sessions. This policy explains what data the app and website use and why.

Data we collect

• Account (optional). If you create an account, we use Firebase Authentication (Google) to sign you in with Google or with email and password. We receive your email address, a user ID and, for Google sign-in, your display name.
• Learning progress. If you are signed in, your progress is stored in Google Cloud Firestore so it syncs between the website and the app: completed sessions, listening minutes per day, streak, saved words, review schedule, your last listening position, listening-check results and app settings.
• Without an account, progress stays only on your device.
• Purchases (Android). Subscriptions are processed by Google Play. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives purchase details from Google Play and an app user ID (your LumaPace account ID if you are signed in, otherwise a random ID). We never see your card details.
• Microphone (optional). The “Say it back” practice asks for microphone access to recognize your speech. Recognition is handled by your device’s speech service; LumaPace does not record, store or upload your audio.

How we use it

Only to provide the app: signing you in, syncing your progress across devices and checking whether your account has Premium access. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use it for advertising or tracking.

Sharing

Data is processed by Google Firebase and Google Play (Google LLC) and, for subscriptions, RevenueCat, Inc. as our service providers. We do not share it with anyone else, except if required by law.

Security and retention

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Each account can only read and write its own progress. We keep your data while your account exists.

Your choices

You can use LumaPace without an account. To delete your account and all synced data, follow the steps on our account deletion page or email us at the address below. We will delete it within 30 days.

Children

LumaPace is not directed at children under 13.
